CHIEF STEWARD

 
Job Scope:
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient daily operation of the Stewarding Department
  • Manages stock and cost control for all kitchen inventories and operating equipments
  • Maintenance of health, safety and hygiene in all F&B areas
  • Supervises cleaning processes and ensure cleanliness of the kitchen areas.
  • Ensures quality of cutleries and serving wares used in restaurants and banquet functions.
  • Conducts on the job training for all new trainees
  • Supervises and assigns work to cleaning and dishwashing crew.
  • Liaises with the local Health Ministry on environmental issues and keep relevant parties informed.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity
  • Ability to lead a large crew comprising of cross cultural nationals
  • Willing to work shifts and long hours.
  • Minimum GCE O/N level
  • Male, 35 to 50 years of age
